small plates was the perfect excuse to pull out some low-budget lighting tricks: several distinct dates in one location which each had to have a fresh look.
armed with three paper balls and some tungsten practicals, we were able to pull off five distinct looks which all transition from day to night with the available light outside.
then - some batshit warm-red lighting for a dreamy sexy food-fight vibe at the end.
i had the camera underslung for some sexy top-shots of food and to get close to actor's eyelines without being intrusive.
